Horizons for Homeless Children is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and services for homeless children throughout Massachusetts. Horizons for Homeless Children’s Western Region continues to recruit new volunteers to work with homeless children living in domestic violence and family homeless shelters in Holyoke, Springfield, Amherst, Northampton, Greenfield, Pittsfield, and Adams. We work with shelters inand around your neighborhood and are eager to connect with people within the community you serve.
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers to play with the children in the family homeless shelters in Pittsfield and Adams. If you have an extra 2 hours a week and a desire to make a difference in the lives of some wonderful children, then we have the volunteer opportunity for you! A six month commitment is required. Attendance at one of our training sessions is mandatory. Upcoming training: September 19th
Louison House

Louison House is a homeless shelter in Adams. Volunteer responsibilities range from helping in resume-writing to playing with kids and organizing food drives. A volunteer is also needed to help with case work and basic office assistance in North Adams.
